Expand your training! Become a Certified Intermediate Archery Instructor
A 2-Day course, you'll learn how to teach the specific steps of shooting, to identify and correct form errors, to conduct training exercises using the official "Drills & Skills" student guidebook, and to teach a Basic Instructor course for your staff or as part of the NADA referral network. Minimum age is 18. "Intermediate Instructor" is a joint certification of USA Archery and National Field Archery Association. NADA facilitates the training of over 700 new Intermediate instructors each year on behalf of the organizations. It's geared towards leaders of camps, schools, recreation and youth agencies, and archery clubs.
Course Requirements:
-Previous Basic Instructor training, or have at least 6-months experience in the sport of archery.
-Membership in either USA Archery or NFAA (may join as part of coursework)
-Successful national background
Schedule an Intermediate Course Contact NADA to schedule a course and to locate a qualified course instructor for you if you have a minimum of 6 participants. NADA does not charge for this service. Course instructors become independent contractors of your organization and set their own teaching rates of which NADA has no control. need loaner equipment for the course? NADA has loaner bow boxes filled with either 12 recurve or 12 Genesis compound bows, arrows and safety gear. These bow boxes are available for a minimum of 6 course participants for only the shipping cost. Contact NADA for details.
